In a small pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add apple cubes and cinnamon. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the apples start to soften and turn golden brown.
½ Apple, cored and cubed, 1 tsp Vegetable oil, 1 tsp Cinnamon
Stir in oats and water and cook for 2-3 minutes or until water is absorbed.
⅔ cup Rolled oats, 1 cup Water
Add salt, (optional seeds), and brown sugar and stir to combine. Optionally, sprinkle top with additional cinnamon and serve immediately.
