Cooking rice doesn't have to be hard. This is our stock brown rice recipe. We use it for all of our recipes that include brown rice.

Equipment

  • 1 Large pot
  • 1 Strainer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Brown rice
  • 2 cups Vegetable Stock
  • 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions

  • Thoroughly rinse rice. Combine rinsed rice with the water, and olive oil in a large stockpot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cover for 35 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let it sit, covered for 10 minutes.
  • Fluff rice with a fork and enjoy.
