Cooking rice doesn't have to be hard. This is our stock brown rice recipe. We use it for all of our recipes that include brown rice.

Thoroughly rinse rice. Combine rinsed rice with the water, and olive oil in a large stockpot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cover for 35 minutes.
Remove from heat and let it sit, covered for 10 minutes.
Fluff rice with a fork and enjoy.
